Kesan Gempa Bumi & Tsunami di Jepun (Gambar)

Pusat gempa bumi dan tsunami di Jepun berada pada kedudukan lebih 4,000 kilometer daripada tempat tinggal kami (di Utara Sabah), namun perasaan takut dan berjaga-jaga tetap ada disebabkan rumah kami memang hampir dengan pantai. Tambahan pula, hujan lebat sekali-sekala disertai dengan tiupan angin yang agak kencang sejak awal malam hingga tengah malam tadi menyebabkan hati tidak tenteram.

Lebih mengerunkan setelah melihat kesan daripada gempa bumi dan tsunami yang berlaku di Jepun petang tadi. Kalau mengikut laporan berita, polis Jepun melaporkan sejumlah 200 hingga 300 mayat telah ditemui di pantai timur laut negara itu. Berkemungkinan juga jumlah sebenar lebih besar.

Psychic octopus Paul to predict WC final

Paul the "psychic" octopus, who has become a global star after correctly forecasting all six of Germany's World Cup games, will predict the final, but only if his hefty workload has not exhausted him.

The tentacled oracle, who stunned Germany by tipping Spain in the semi-final - spot on as it turned out, will on Friday make his prediction for the third-place Germany match with Uruguay, a spokesman for his aquarium told AFP.

Yet another cable fault cripples Middle East Internet

The Middle East unfortunately has limited Internet connectivity to the rest of the world, and that connectivity was slowed dramatically this weekend after the main SeaMeWe-4 cable suffered a "shunt fault" and came into contact with sea water somewhere in the Mediterranean.

The 20,000km SeaMeWe-4 cable provides much of the connectivity between Europe and Egypt, and its disruption made news from Egpyt to the Gulf states to Pakistan and beyond. Service still appears operational in the eastern segment of the cable, which runs all the way to Singapore. Apart from SeaMeWe-4 many states only have access to the much slower and older SeaMeWe-3 and FLAG Europe-Asia cables.

PSK08 THE RETURNS 18 til 22 mac 2009

Sepatutnya PSK 08 ni diadakan pada bulan Disember yang lepas. Tetapi disebabkan kemangkatan Yang Di Pertuan Besar Negeri Sembilan ketika itu, PSK 08 terpaksa ditangguhkan. Aku ingatkan PSK tu tukar tempat dekat Melaka. Seperti yang digambarkan dalam banner di atas dan di bawah ni, program tersebut akan diadakan daripada 18 Mac sehingga 22 Mac. Nanti akan ada bermacam-macam program pasal skuter dan juga akan ada mini konsert/gig dengan kehadiran band-band yang agakl best.
